TRAINEE HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT (THCA)
14/07/2023 – Information session / Liter acy & numeracy assessment
24/07/2023 – 5 – day programme begins.
If successful at interview at the end of the short programme at UHB, candidates
will then move onto a Band 2 twelve week, fully paid Trainee HCA programme
with BCHC.
The aim is that they w ill ultimately move into a full HCA job role within BCHC.
(Subject to satisfactory completion of training)
Eligibility:
• Unemployed
• Age 18 plus
• Living in Birmingham or Solihull
• Not in Further of Higher Education
• Level 1 in Literacy & Numeracy (assessment t o be completed at the
Learning Hub, as part of enrolment process.)
